Consul, Commissioner Laud PAS for commitment to youth and scholarship
program
West Palm Beach, Feb. 16 -- The Philippine American
Society Valentine's Gala, now on its 10th year, was held
at the Palm Beach Convention Center. Special
guests were Philippine Honorary Consul General Angelo S.
Macatangay and Palm Beach Commissioner Jess Santamaria.
The fundraising event aims to help gifted children
with its scholarship program which is awarded every
year. ""It is imperative that we do everything we can to
encourage all our children to excell in academics,
sports and civic activities to preapre them for future
leadership," stated Commissioner Santamaria in his
message.
