MANILA, Jan. 11, 2001 -- Rufa Mae Quinto is one star who
chose to wait. For the short-sighted, her decision to flip-flop
from supporting roles in movies and starring roles on TV is a mark
of indecisiveness.
Her current TV shows - which now trimmed to a relatively few
including "Subic Bay" for IBC 13, "Ispup" and "Easy Money" for ABC
5 and "Arriba! Arriba!" for ABS-CBN 2 - seemed a kiss of death by
overexposure, too.

the right audience recall and the supporting movie roles as the
preparation for another launching and what have you
got?
Someone who is ripe for stardom and Rufa Mae is so very ready with her
newest movie for Viva Films entitled "Booba" scheduled for showing

"Booba" is a blend of sex and comedy, both
her forte and she
gets to do some action too by way of her character, which is an NBI
agent opposite Gary Estrada.
Rufa Mae is also given the chance to sing the theme song
that's also the carrier single of her new album that will be
launched on GMA's "SOP, never mind if another singer, Ai Ai de las
Alas, is also in the movie.The big career decision on Rufa Mae's part is of course her
baring of her breasts for the movie. It took so long for her to
decide on this even to the point of scheduling the shoot on the
last day.
