The annual Sandugo Festival celebrate a historical event that took
place Philippine island of Bohol. The month-long festival
traditionally celebrated in Tagbilaran City in July honors and
celebrates Datu Sikatuna's blood compact with Captain General
Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain in March 16, 1565. The
festivities is marked by street parades, church services,
fireworks, and beauty pageants.
