First Lady Luisa Ejercito cuts the ceremonial ribbon to formally open the Second New York Filipino Film Festival at the Walter Reade Theater, Lincoln Center, New York City. The First Lady is assisted by Mrs. Kai Siazon, wife of Foreign Affairs Secretary Domingo Siazon Jr., and Lady Diaz, director of "Naked Under the Sun."

"Bulaklak ng Maynila," "Saranggola," "Hubad sa Ilalim ng Buwan," "Gangland," "Kriminal ng Baryo Concepcion," "Sidhi," "Milagros," "Pila Balde," "Babae sa Bubong na Lata," the 1961 "Moises Padilla Story," and the 1955 "Sandra Wong."
